Seva Bharati Meghalaya and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Holds Awareness Drive amid Lockdown
Shillong: Seva Bharati Meghalaya and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS ) volunteers in Shillong, Meghalaya, are helping people to fight against coronavirus pandemic.
General secretary of Seva Bharati Meghalaya Shri.Mani Mawpat. And President of Seva Bharati Meghalaya, Shillong Shri. Bijit Khongsit said “Fighting coronavirus is our top priority and currently we have asked all our volunteers to focus on creating awareness.
Seva Bharati Meghalaya and RSS volunteers are preparing food packets, Our volunteers will help needy people around there, by distributing food packets. While doing this we are ensuring that there is no crowding”, A senior Seva BharatiMeghalaya functionary said.
“We’re determined to work for humanity, without discrimination and is not bothered about caste and religion while doing so,” said RSS and Seva Bharati leaders.
Several other local organisations are also supporting SevaBharatiMeghalaya and RSS, helping in raising awareness on the importance of social distancing to curb further spread of the novel coronavirus in India while also reaching out to those in need.
